About Galerie Neukölln

Galerie Neukölln is located in the historic rooms of the monumental former savings bank building at Karl-Marx-Straße 107 in Berlin-Neukölln. Embedded in the academic environment of a university-oriented language institute, Galerie Neukölln also forms the core of a modern, interactive, and self-confident Neukölln. Here, language unfolds in culturally discursive processes. International art projects emerge here through creative and linguistic exchange.

The exhibitions at Galerie Neukölln, led by director Krista Woelk, are accompanied by a cultural-didactic event program. Art spaces are revealed through immediate self-experience and expand through the direct participation of visitors.

Galerie Neukölln was founded in 2024 by Johannes Boßhammer and Samuel Portillo Montes.
